A new consumer app called TAKE5 has been launched to provide an effortless experience for salon and spa enthusiasts to find, book and pay for appointments.
Zenoti, a provider of software solutions for the spa, salon and medical spa industry, introduced TAKE5.

With TAKE5, our goal is to combine well-being, beauty and convenience for a happier and healthier life, lifestyle, ”Sudheer Koneru, CEO of Zenoti, said in a statement.
The app takes advantage of tight integration with the Zenoti platform, which is used by several luxury salons, high-end salons and spas across India. The integration allows TAKE5 to provide real-time information on appointment availability at any salon or spa and accepts immediate online reservations.
Real-time bookings mean the user receives immediate confirmation and the customer’s visit is automatically recorded in the company’s appointment book.
“With the launch of TAKE5, Zenoti connects consumers to a vast network of suppliers,” said Shekhar Kirani, Partner of Accel India.
According to data, based on the Zenoti Benchmark, more than 70% of visits to salons and spas are without an appointment.
This indicates that customers like the flexibility to make last minute decisions about where to go for their service. The app also supports this walk-in culture.
Essentially, it helps consumers find real-time appointment availability at nearby salons and spas; helps users stay informed on wellness and beauty trends and tips; helps find quality salons and spas based on customer reviews; and facilitating the reservation process. Users can also prepay through the app and receive exclusive offers.
TAKE5 will initially launch in Mumbai and Hyderabad, then expand to other major metros in the coming months. It will be free to download.
