SEBASTIAN – Out of 171 warrants, approximately 60 arrests were made in connection with the massage parlor prostitution case in Sebastian and Vero Beach, Florida.
The Sebastian Police Department, the Vero Beach Police Department and the Indian River County Sherrif’s Office are making arrests in association with the massage parlors that were raided Tuesday. The charges include human trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.
Below is a list of clients accused of prostitution after visiting massage parlors Sebastian and Vero Beach. We will post additional listings as they become available. This list is part 5.
Police said they first heard about the Riverview Shopping Plaza spa from the health department. Then they sent undercover agents into the business and discovered that the massage therapists were involved in prostitution.
During the investigation, officials discovered that the companies were engaged in human trafficking, sex trafficking and labor trafficking.
At a press conference Thursday, Sheriff Deryl Loar said each spa has most likely grossed over $ 1 million a year from the massage prostitution ring.
