Stressed residents (and there are many) of The Heights now have a new option for wellness and relief. Based in Los Angeles Massage now will unveil its first location in Houston on Tuesday, October 5, its owners announced.

This new destination will be located at 373 W. 19th St. in the heart of The Heights. To celebrate the great opening week of the boutique (from Tuesday October 5 to Monday October 11), all massage reservations will benefit from a free upgrade, by press release.

Those who book during this week can choose from two of The Now’s best-selling signature add-on treatments, including: Calm Balm, a refreshing peppermint balm with healing ashwagandha to target sore muscles, or Fresh Eyes. , a soothing and hydrating eye mask with vitamins and antioxidants.

Customers interested in monthly or bi-monthly subscriptions (referred to as “Ritual” subscriptions) can expect packages that include VIP perks, exclusive perks, freebies and more, by version. The first 50 guests to join as a Ritual member will receive a free gift bag with a selection of products from the Nourish, Scent and Room by The Now collection.

Future guests can book online, call or download The Now app.

Customers who join as a member during official opening week – and for the following month – will also receive a free 25-minute massage, according to an announcement.

Houston residents Ben and Cynthia Orser, who have a background in finance, will own and operate the new spa. “Now Houston Heights provides a relaxing city oasis for visitors and locals looking to recharge their energy with the healing benefits of massage therapy,” Cynthia Orser said in a statement.

Founded in 2015, The Now has quickly grown into a wellness destination in Los Angeles for globetrotting influencers and locals, according to the release notes. The chain of stores expands with locations across the United States

The Now joins current massage sites in the Heights area including Massage Heights, Blossom Massage, Rosewood Bodyworks and more.
