HOWELL – A Neptune City man was killed on Saturday after his motorcycle crossed the center line of Herbertsville Road in Howell, according to the Monmouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Paul J. Shamblin, 49, of Neptune City died after his northbound 2003 Harley-Davidson Fatboy motorcycle collided with a southbound pickup truck in the southbound lanes, said Chris Swendeman, spokesperson from the Monmouth County Attorney’s Office.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:23 p.m. between Highway 547 and Newtons Corner Road.
