Batman’s Snake Eyes Fight turns Fortnite into a cabin in the woods

In Batman / Fortnite: Zero Point # 3, the dark knight is placed in a scenario very reminiscent of the movie “The cabin in the woods”.

the Batman / Fortnite: zero point The crossover comic book series turns out to be so much more than one might expect. While it’s full of combat, action, martial arts, and mayhem, it also features a story that forces Batman to use his wits to uncover a conspiracy that’s both dark and ominous.

Unlike many other crossovers that can often seem over-bloated and unnecessary, this series showcases Batman’s skills as the world’s greatest sleuth while simultaneously revealing unknown secrets of the world of Fortnite.

In recent interviews, Gage has leaked the name of the mysterious organization that brings in characters from all times and from multiple dimensions like IO or Imagined Order. In Batman / Fortnite: zero point # 3, in an attempt to keep Batman from getting too close to the truth, IO pits the Dark Knight against a man who is at least his equal, GI Joe’s silent warrior Snake Eyes.

Numbers n ° 1 and n ° 2 of Batman / Fortnite were mostly told from Batman’s point of view, but the third issue shakes things up by presenting the point of view of IO’s executives for the first time. Number background captions are set as email / IM chats of people behind the scenes. The Puppet Masters have clearly drawn Batman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Snake Eyes – along with dozens of other hot IPs from a myriad of other publishers / games – across time and multiple dimensions, to put them up in a cataclysmic battle royale. Each fighter fights to the death in a 22 minute cycle, before time resets and they start over.

In the film, various innocent people were put through trials similar to those seen in Fortnite and killed one by one by zombies, werewolves, and other fear movies. This appears to be exactly what IO is doing, although their reason for pitting the Dark Knight, Snake Eyes, and all the other kidnapped fighters against each other has not been revealed. Their plan seems cruel, bordering on evil on first inspection, although there is no conclusive evidence that this is indeed the case.

Messages coming and going between members of the IO Council make it clear that there is a plan, but Batman’s quick wit and combat prowess worries the organization. They seem to be having an endgame, but the Dark Knight seems to be finding things too quickly for their liking. The series has now reached its midpoint, and with just three questions remaining, the answers are sure to be both immediate and surprising.
